Grace's field trip to McNary Dam

Grace's Class took a trip down to Oregon to the McNary Dam and Irrigon Fish Hatchery. We had a fun time seeing the turbines and the fish ladder. Then at the fish hatchery we got to see the people tagging the fish. Grace got to push the button to tag a fish. We had a blast!

Swan Lake Reunion July 2007

( July 8-14, 2007 ) WOW! We had a small family reunion with Matt's dad, his brothers and his aunt and uncle. We all went to Swan Lake up in North Eastern Washington. We had a week of fishing, huckelberry picking and swimming. The weather was beautiful. Kaitlyn and Grace got to see thier cousins Sierra, Zack and Ryleigh. Plus they got to see thier second cousins McKenzie, Taylor and Tia. They are Matt's cousins kiddos. It was fun to see them all together playing and having fun.

Great Grandma and Grandpa visited us last weekend and we took a trip to see Chris, Hillary, Emily and new baby Clara. The girls had a blast playing with Emily and Clara was such a cutie. We enjoyed out time with them even though it was short and we hope to see them again very soon.

Fourth of July

Fourth of July found us at Jeff and Teresa Kainz in La Conner again. It has become our family tradition with them to spend that week together. We enjoyed watching the fireworks in Anacortes. Matt and Jeff decided that lighting the neighbors house on fire this year would not be good. Matt and Jefff took all the kids strawberry picking then I got to make some yummy homemade jam. The boys took a boat trip out fishing and ended up in another one of thier adventures - small electrical fire -they got it out and we had to rescue them at the nearest marina. After eating lots of crab, the kids playing on the beach and not enough time we had to leave. We sure enjoyed out time and can't wait for next year!
