Stuffing and walking

So today I went to one of the moms houses and helped make stuffing for the turkey dinner that the PTO puts on every year for the whole school. It was a lot of fun and I got some great information from these moms. Everyone knows everyone and there is so much that goes on in this little town. It's fun to be apart of it all.
Starbuck and I just got back from a walk down to the lake. It is beautiful this afternoon and I thought we would take advantage of it. It snowed yesterday evening but stopped around 8pm and didn't snow again all night. Today I decided to leave to driveway and not shovel it. I guess I am getting lazy and I am also getting tired of shoveling it everyday. But the beach looked different from when I went on Sunday. The big snow/ice walls are gone and there is snow on the beach again. It is amazing how much it changes from day to day.
We are in for more snow tonight and temps. getting down to -12. Burr that is cold!!
Matt is doing well in Kennewick. He's been busy with work and has his work Christmas party tonight. Tomorrow morning he is heading over to Silverdale to see his mom. Not sure if you all know but Marcia had a small stroke last Saturday. She got to ride in an ambulance and they did some tests but couldn't find why she had it. She went home that afternoon and has been doing well since. She has a follow up appt. next week so please keep her in your prayers. So Matt wants to go see her and check for himself that his mom is ok. He will catch his flight out of SeaTac on Saturday afternoon. Us girls are ready for him to be home!!
I'm off to fold my laundry and get ready for my girls to come home. :)
