Turkey Lunch

I went to school today to help serve turkey dinner to the kids. It was so much fun. I got to meet more moms and dads and get some connections going. I spent most of my time in Grace's class, that is where I was assigned. But I did pop down and hung out with Kaitlyn for a little while. She has a great group of girls in her class and it was fun to go and talk with them.

We went over to Brooke's house for dinner. She has the Dunham boys for the weekend and Jim was out shopping for Christmas so she made all of us dinner. It was nice just to hang out and be fed. Later once we got home the girls and I watched "Horton Hears a Hoo". Cute movie.

Matt got up early and hit the road at 3:30 this morning and has been enjoying his time with his mom. I gave him a long list of things to pick up while he is there that I miss not having here. We are SO ready for him to be home tomorrow.

Kaitlyn decided she wants Starbuck to sleep with her tonight. So far so good. He's a good dog and usually we don't hear a peep out of him at night. I think he is really enjoying being an indoor dog. Plus the girls love having him in their rooms and having him hang out with them.

I am off to get some sleep!
